NESTED ARCS IN RAPE

Posted by on May 27, 2012

The Czech Republic formation at Uhřice (14th May 2012) seemed to me to be of great significance. It picks up the theme of nested arcs (particularly in Rape) demonstrated repeatedly over recent seasons.

In 2010, on the 5th May, we had the complex Old Sarum formation which had six nested arcs. As Allan Brown was later to show, Old Sarum contained some remarkable number references. Then, on 16th May 2010 at Yarnbury, an enigmatic and exquisitely made keyhole-shaped formation appeared. Though this was a uniquely innovative form it was soon noisily dismissed as a hoax – as always without supporting evidence, justification or embarassment. This year on 28th April, in rape and also at Yarnbury, we had a fine formation, again of six nested arcs. Here each arc was formed of a contrasting standing and laid-down half.

The Uhřice formation is possibly the masterpiece of the group. Based loosely on the “Star of Life” geometry, it places six concentric arcs within each of its six segments. Nothing quite like this has ever been seen before. Depressingly, a field report from a Ms Ondra Procházka states “The crop circle is near small village called “Uhřice”. It was founded perhaps on 14.5.12 (14th May). I was there today and it look like hoax.”

Simply “it look like hoax.” No supporting facts or evidence. And this raw statement, unmoderated and unquestioned, is glibly published around the world by the connector. Ms Ondra Procházka is of course entitled to her opinion, superficial though I believe it to be.  A little justification of that opinion would be helpful to us all in future and, if is not available dare I say, it should not be published.
