A NEW SQUARING

Posted by on June 16, 2019

In my last blog, 13th April 2019, I suggested that the Horton Egg was a part of the crop circle phenomenon. I remain open to that possibility but new information is now available which I will deal with later.

Regular readers will know by now of my attachment to the Squaring of the Circle (or as I prefer the Circling of the Square). The insistent reiteration of squared circles, or circled squares, and the repetition of Pi references over the last 25 years has persuaded me that the S of C, or the C of S, is one of the central components of the communication that we are so persistently offered.

Thus for me the Warminster formation of 2nd May 19 (1), the first of the 2019 season, was both a revelation and a confirmation.

1. Warminster. 22nd May 2019

At first glance it was clear that this was a half-formed quintuplet, or dice five-spot, that broke several conventions (2). First, why are there only two satellite circles instead of the usual four? This is unusual. Second, why is the central mother circle smaller than the daughter satellites? This is rare. Third, why is the orbit ring so broad? This is very strange. Each one of these three elements challenges long-standing norms. Our attention is being drawn – stridently – to the significance of this event.

2 . Warminster diagram

I have added the two missing satellite circles, transparent red in diagram (3) and, linking the centres of the four satellites, a red square is formed. With the addition of the main circle, transparent green in the diagram, the reason for the extraordinary width of the orbit ring becomes clear – the inner edge of the ring holds and sizes the green circle while the outer edge locates the centres of the satellites which are also, exactly, the corners of the square.

3. Warminster. A novel squaring

I have been preoccupied with the meaning and importance of the recurring quintuplet form within the crop circle narrative for over a quarter of a century. Is that too long? Perhaps I have allowed myself to become too dazzled and too charmed by these clever and enigmatic ciphers. I fear that the simplicity and precision of Warminster might have overwhelmed my powers of description.

ALLAN BROWN
When the history of this phenomenon is written, Allan Brown’s name will loom large. Among other achievements he wrote and designed, with the great John Michell Crooked Soley a Crop Circle Revelation and How the World is Made both of which are essential reading. He has worked for many years on a study of quintuplets and Celtic crosses and discovered that the majority of them (about seventy) squared the circle, often using previously unknown geometric systems. His crucial and scholarly work will eventually be published but meanwhile I had to show him Warminster to check my view of its uniqueness.

Like me he is fascinated by the inventiveness and range of the crop circle quintuplets and like me he is impressed with Warminster which he describes as beautiful, economical but above all novel. The nearest precedent he knows is Whitchurch 1992 (4). Whitchurch has the four satellites but they are separate from the circle squaring. The larger central circle is contained by a broader ring and, like Warminster, the outer edge of the ring locates the four corners of the square while the inner edge defines the circle.

4. Whitchurch diagram

I was very moved by the accuracy of Warminster and, as a test, I decided – as I often do with outstanding formations – to see if it was constrained by the magical geometry of seven. They sometimes are. I overlaid a seven-pointed star, a broad heptagram (5), and it was very close. But the crop circles never do very close. As everyone knows, only cheats count a nearly!

A HORTON EGG PS
After the posting of the Horton Egg (6) and the Horton Beehive I
received a message from Luc Tixeire of Luxenbourg.

6. Horton Egg. Early March 2019

He is clearly a master of Google Earth and he discovered that the Egg image has been repeated over several years of which the image (7) of July 2015 is perhaps the clearest. This evidence of a repetition of the same form over several years in the same location reopens the Horton Egg question. An obvious answer would be that this is an archaeological imprint of something lying beneath. I know nothing of archaeology but I cannot understand how such a refined geometry (what was it?) could be telegraphed – annually – through the ages and not noticed until 2019. Luc says “…instead of being remains of an ancient construction, I think it’s rather the remains of an ancient manipulation of energies… ancient people used to create “energetic walls” by manipulating earth energies, and these walls are still there, influencing the growing of plants.”

7. Horton Egg. 10th July 2015

A peculiar little two-part crop event arrived on the 25th of May at Chesterton Farm near Cirencester (8).

8. Cirencester. 25th May 2019

I immediately noticed a similarity to a part of the Horton Egg (9) and part of Whitchurch (10). If these forms are a recurring reflection of an ancient structure, then please can somebody out there tell me what culture and which building required such a sophisticated concentric construction?

Question upon question. Mystery upon mystery. Above all, we should accept that the conversation initiated by the crop circles is emblematic. Given this understanding of its symbolic nature, the Warminster crop circle, the first of the 2019 season, is an optimistic portent of what the year might hold. For myself (and I happily admit my prejudices) this is the clearest and most powerful signal and symbol that we have ever been granted at the start of a crop circle season.

The formation itself is as clean, direct and unambiguous as any and it repeats the communication that has been on the agenda for decades: Circle the Square – make Earth more Heavenly!

  1. Hello from Tempe, AZ!

I appreciate your analysis of the past and current crop circles. I especially enjoy the geometric overlays. That helps me understand the complexities of the design. I hope this finds you well.

  2. Beautiful Michael!

  3. Most exciting and interesting.

  4. At last – the Horton Egg mystery is resolved…. or is it??? I shall be watching that field with interest in April 2020!

  5. Thank you from the Appalachian region of southwestern Virginia, USA.

Your work is astonishing Michael, thank you!

    • The crop circles are showing information regarding perpetual motion for energy. Advanced crop circles are showing how to use element 115 for energy. The bees ? they telling us we are killing the bees they brought here.

      Circles and pyramids…are related somehow.

  6. Thanks again for the results of your time and work Michael. I look forward as always to your next post.

  7. Precious Earth, cosmic organism, having long seen herself in a starry mirror, now begins to see herself through the eyes of the species she must most crucially synchronize. Naturally, she warmly greets those most crucially cognizant of respeciation, gentle geometricians. The root of the word “optimist” is of course no accident.

  8. very nice and interesting facts about crop circle. Thank you so much.
